Practices which employ skilled use of hand tools and an understanding of material and have their roots in traditional functional design

Over the years I’ve occasionally dipped into some traditional crafts. Back in 2012 (or thereabouts) I took knife-making and axe-making classes at Bushfire Forge with Owen Bush, and more recently at Hammer and Hound Forge with Alex Sowden. For now there isn’t a lot to show here, but I hope that over coming months and years I’ll be able to fill it out.
